The World Health Organization defines health as “the absence of disease or infirmity”. However, different definitions of health have been used over the centuries, depending on who was speaking and what the purpose was. This article will provide a brief overview of the different definitions of health. Let’s start with the WHO’s. It describes health as a state of complete well-being. But, what is health? What is the World Bank’s definition of health?

Health is a state of complete physical and mental well-being. The WHO identifies health as the fundamental human right, regardless of race, religion, economic status, or gender. As such, it is important to ensure that everyone has access to health care that meets their individual needs. But, we shouldn’t forget that there are other aspects of health, including mental well-being. In fact, we should not overlook the role that physical resources play in maintaining a healthy life.

The World Health Organization’s constitution defines health as a complete state of well-being, which enables one to lead a productive life and adapt to varying environments. For example, a sea-level dweller can develop shortness of breath and anemia if he travels to a mountain area. Similarly, a fragile individual can have heart attacks if he or she shovels dirt. This article also explores the concept of health.
